UP IN THE AIR
For one month, LINE transforms Yerevan into a nomadic festival of architecture, design, and civic imagination.

Under the theme “Up in the Air,” the biennial explores the unseen forces shaping urban life—memory, pollution, collectivity, and hope. In Yerevan, pollution, instability, and rapid change have long been in the air, leaving residents with a sense of suspended futures and uncertainty.

Through eight site-specific installations, exhibitions, and public events, LINE invites residents, students, cultural institutions, and international visitors to reimagine the city together. Dust, love, clouds, planes, unspoken words—what else is up in the air? It is time to take a breath and make the hidden visible.
